Preaching in the 21-st Century
In this course, you will learn how to effectively preach in the 21st-century.
In our post-modern, post-Christian world, people tell us: Learn to accept those who do not think as you do and leave them alone. Love them for who they are instead of who you want them to be. American culture has created an implausibility structure towards Christianity, comprised of pluralism individuality, tolerance, and a relativity of truth that rejects the plausibility of God. Preaching to unbelief addresses the doubts and questions of life experienced by the hearers and addressed within the biblical text.

Originally from Portland, OR, Jared and his family moved to Seattle in 2015 to begin the work of starting Missio Church. For years the dream was to see smaller, interconnected churches in neighborhoods all across Seattle, playing a role in reaching a new generation of people.
